Picking up my race packet while my husband takes the older kids to the parade, attending mass for the Feast of St. Patrick, reciting the breastplate of St. Patrick, wearing a shirt that has my MIL's birthplace in Ireland on it....

Nothing much. I enjoy watching the drunk teenagers walking around half in the bag starting at around 9am. Just kidding.

I will be staying far far away from anything that has to do with the parade.

I hate the mobs of people. especially drunken bridge and tunnel people, and I am Greek so I have zero interest in St Patrick.

I'm not Irish but my treks to and from work include driving thru Woodlawn, Mclean Avenue and Riverdale, all heavily Irish nabes!!

and traffic on McLean Avenue between Bronx River Rd and Central Park Avenue in Yonkers(my usual route home) moves as slow as molasses on St Pats day due to all the pedestrians walking to and from the bars
