Hello, wanted to see if anyone had knowledge on how to get a temporary halt on some construction?

Long story short - I live in a condo and our board has gotten a little bit out of control. They are planning some cosmetic landscaping which will involve some construction as well. Main issue is that the building has some outstanding structural issues that need to be taken care of ASAP. The board (divided) has decided that they'll just plow ahead with the cosmetic work and do a special assessment if needed, rather than divert those funds towards the needed repairs.

The real issue is they did this with no communication to the rest of the association (our last minutes are from December) and there have been other questions. When the association found out and raised a stink, apparently a few of the board members just said "lets just do it, they can't do anything about it anyway, work starts in two weeks."

So, a few of us would like to throw a wrench into the plans by way of an injunction, but have no idea how to do that. Just want to slow the process down and make them at least listen to our concerns.

Thanks for any help.
