I am wondering how does one get back to NYC AFTER the JETS game or GIANTS game at the Meadowlands? I am considering checking out the JETS-PATS Thanksgiving game....but am worried about getting back to Manhattan so I can get to the Staten Island Ferry I will be staying on Staten Island possibly where i'd park my car. - Is there any public transit options from Manhattan to Meadowlands esp after the game late at night? Or is it better to just take my car and drive? How long a drive would it be from Staten Island to the Meadowlands? And/or Manhattan? Thanks

They have a train that goes to and from the Stadium from Hoboken Terminal...which is accessible from Lower Manhattan via the PATH... Driving is the worst thing you can do , traffic is horrible on the SI Expressway and Turnpike and the Tolls and parking are expensive...

There are special buses that leave from the Port Authority.

Coach USA | 351 MEADOWLANDS EXPRESS

I can't recall if this was the same bus I took, it's been a few years.

I see now there are trains that go to the Stadium. When I did it you took PATH to Secaucus then had to switch to a bus.

New Jersey Transit

You are a very special case with the SI to Manhattan and subway to Port Authority and out to the Meadowlands and back...sound like just TOO much trip and HOURS wasted.
In the words of Confucius, it's a SCHLEPP.

I almost NEVER advise driving and I HATE to drive but if I were you, I would DRIVE.

I know this is going to sound like a silly question, but how are you getting to the game? (Go back the same way!)
