What is this area in Fresh meadows, Queens along 188th st (Google Map link included) (Marcy: apartments)

What is this area? Is it public housing (there's another thread here that states it's not NYCHA but it doesnt specify the exact location) or rentals? I've googled the street names like crazy and best I can make out, it's some former housing for veterans and it's now rentals? Google never specifies which street except somewhere along 188th I think but im not sure the website is [www.freshmeadowsapartments.com] ?

Also is this a good area to move to (either rent or buy a home)

Anyone familiar this area that can provide some insight would appreciated.

It is Fresh Meadows Apartments.

It's a pretty good area to live in. Those aren't the types of projects like they have in Co-Op City or Marcy Projects. They're pretty nice.
