I have to go to 3400 Bainbridge Ave tomorrow at 1:30. In March i had a panic attack/vertigo experience in the Wayne Avenue parking garage on the 7th floor due to the only spot being available at the edge(by the concrete barrier as opposed to the inner part of the lot) and i would like to avoid that. Is the Rochambeau Ave garage any less crowded?

You can valet at the Main Entrance for the Rochambeau garage. No need to drive in there at all.

Montefiore?

I'm going there tomorrow TOO, but I'll be at Einstein Medical at 1300 Morris Park.
If I run late, I'll wave, rlrl.

(I'm taking the #6 train so no danger of vertigo...probably the opposite, claustrophobia.)

This is my first time so I am going to try the #6 to Westchester/E Tremont and the Bx31 bus at LANE Ave. to Morris Park and Eastchester.

I am leaving an hour for the rush hour trip from either 86th or 96th. (Confused about the idea of a local vs. express on the #6, a train that I had always assumed to be a local because I have almost always taken it South. Doorman told me that leaving from 86th is more straightforward and I should look for a PELHAM rather than a PARKCHESTER #6.

i think one of them terminates at Parkchester whereas the regular 6 keeps on going to Westchester Sq. To my knowledge you would catch the 6 at 86th or 96th marked Pelham Bay Park. Ive never ridden the 6 in the Bronx

You can catch the 31 right at Westchester Square. And you want to take a local 6, the express terminates at Parkchester where you'd need to get on a local anyway.

Made it up and back without event. (Southbound got a local from Pelham that turned into an express for the bottom leg in the Bronx? Go figger.)

Stopped at 125th and shopped a PATHMARK. Wow, what a fine store and GARGANTUAN. Sure beats the pants off any of the UES markets.

Nice fish market. Good cheap fruit (yummy sweet red deedless grapes: $.99/pound.)

I'm sold and the store is right atop the #4,5,6 station... so super convenient for me.

rlrl,
I hope those cancer treatments do the trick.
(I only went up for a drug trial.)
