almost20. I retired 25 years ago from S I 2, that was a great district. I had a great route in Dongan hills and one in south beach. the job has really changed, I worked Garrison ave and Cromwell ave around Lees Tavern. I started in the old dist.10 in harlem, went to 50 in astoria, another great district, I think that is QW 1 now. The last year is the longest. good luck to you, stay healthy.

Yeah this last year already feels like it's been going on another 20 years. Is it the end yet? ^ ^
But yeah it's a great district. Thought of putting in a transfer to SI3 along the way but opted to stay here. Retired 25 years ago? Wooo god bless. I'll be staying healthy, ain't taking no chances.

routes are a joke in this garage.....but you won't see days for a long time....I remember going there out of town a year or so ago and the kid that was 4-12 said he hadn't seen days in 4.5 years...and it wasn't by his choice

Yeah that's a garage where some people placed there made it to top pay before they saw anyone under them so days will take a while. Good garage though. If you placed in Q1 a lot of the guys there can help set you up to succeed. If you have any questions when you get there, ask for J. Brennan and listen to what he says. Senior guy, no complaints, A category in sick.
