Hello,
I am travelling to New York City again.. for a month and this time I will need a phone number and a plan that I could use for texting and calls (no internet needed)
Could you recommend some prepaid cell-phone plans?(without the contract and I would like to use my own unlocked phone)

Sorry if it is the wrong topic, but I hope I will get some information. Thank you in advance. (..and I apologize for any English mistakes that I did..hehe)

T-Mobile has such plans. Check their website or go into a T-Mobile store upon arrival in NYC.

Another option is that one can buy a simcard at the airport to use with an unlocked phone. (I know for sure that they are sold at JFK airport).

Make sure your phone supports the frequencies used in the US.
