Around here Egg Nog starts coming out after Halloween but well before Thanksgiving.

I love egg nog. But it's probably the most fattening stuff on the planet. So once a year around the holidays I get one quart of the stuff. Make it last about a week and that's it.

I googled it for you and I read that Walmart has it early this year (now). But you'd have to go to NJ or Long Island for that, and I can't imagine it would be worthwhile to travel that far for eggnog when you can just wait a few weeks.
