I have noticed lately those sweepers throw more garbage on the street when they pass instead of sweeping it.
happened again this morning made a turn onto my block and left the block full of leaves and other garbage that fell from underneath it

how old are those machines? ive been in NYC since 2002 and they are the same
i think they need to be replaced with something never/better?

anyone else annoyed from those "sweepers" ?

they are worthless. I too watch them spin the garbage around, picking up nothing.

maybe if the sanitation dept issued more fines for banks, store owners that constantly have garbage in front, places would be cleaner.

TD bank at bay parkway and 86Th Street in brooklyn ALWAYS has little in front it of, and a lot of litter also.

They have been around as long as I can remember.

Other places I have been to have essentially giant vacuums sucking stuff up from the street.
