I'm so lost at finding this place. I walk past K-Mart all the way down to the duane reade and I cannot locate 2 Pennsylvania Plaza. Can you please give me detailed directions on how to find this place. I am desperate for a Krispy Kreme Doughnut.

Thank you so much!

Krispy Kreme is inside Penn Station on the main level. When you enter from 7th Avenue, pass the NJTransit area and head to the Main Concourse, where you would go to buy Amtrak tickets. The Krispy Kreme is in a market stall to your right from this entrance, IIRC. If you enter from 33rd & 8th, you will be in the Main Concourse area, and the stall will be on your left, past the main Amtrak area. It's a few away from Zaro's, and should be easy to find in the station.

One word of caution, however, I believe the donuts are imported at this location as there is no factory in the city. I don't eat KK, but know people who do, and they accept these as being equivalent of what one would find at a convenience store, but not the same freshness or quality as a main store where baking is done on premises.

It's not the same Krispy Kreme that I used to buy on W. 23rd Street where the dontuts came out of the hot oil via an assembly line.

Aww that sucks, but I'm desperate for that doughnut. Hopefully it wont be stale. I didn't even know there was one one 23rd street. I used to get my fix at the one on the upper east side and the one at the bottom of K-mart. Thanks.

I'm in great shape, with a low BMI; but I need this doughnut. Thanks for your help though.

"Any port in storm!" comes to mind, but I am sure that you will enjoy your KK treat as those I know who miss them will accept the ones from Penn. It's best if you can go early in the day, however, as they do sell out, and have to wait for reinforcements. I would imagine that they could come from the Philadelphia area, and it would be funny if they were shipped on the train, but probably just a truck.

At the price of Krispy Kremes there's little chance of their inducing obesity.
