R&B/Soul and/or Hip/Hop Clubs (Jay: live, club)

Hope someone can help. Im kind of new in the City and i have friends visiting from Europe. They like to go to bars or clubs (or live venues) where those kind of music is played. is anyone into one of those scenes and can help me with that? Thanks
