Isn't it true that there aren't true slot machines at Resorts World Casino but rather video lottery terminals? I've read VLTs are like lottery scratch off tickets. I'd rather play real slots where the wins aren't programmed by a computer.
Anyone else care to comment on this casino? Have the slots tightened considerably? How are the table games, such as they are?
It's a nice place, typical hypnotic video game palace full of zombies & losers. I go maybe once a year, but I only play the high roller slots at $10-$25 per credit otherwise it's a waste of time since there's no card tables or traditional gambling stations. Be warned that they only use those paper cash receipts and if you want to cash out over $500 you can't use the machine you have to go to the teller. Over $1000 and they ask for your ID and do a background check on back taxes in New York State. I'm not sure what the threshold is for them to withhold but if you owe the state make sure you get someone else to cash in the receipt for you.
I didn't care for it much. Maybe because I prefer take left games, but I've been to the one in Yonkers, Foxwoods, Mohegan, AC and Dover Downs as well as Vegas and FL casinos. It's kind of a dump, and the night we went just felt like a fight would break out. Oh wait, that already happened.
