Not only are those that have ethnic hatred for Spanish ignorant but those bashing the ethnic haters may be even more ignorant. How can those hatng on the Puerto Ricans racist? Is Puerto Rican a race? Maybe they were sexist because he is a man. The whole understanding is distortedd always blamed on this vague concept of race.
Marc Anthony is hated for the same reasons Kennedy was murdered. White protestant American are scizmatic hateful people. Protestant colonists murdered the Indians while the Catholics in South America showed them them true religion. That is why there are more ethnic South Americans of the Catholic relion in north america than native north americans in north america. They have hated Catholics like Marc Anthony for hundreds of years for his Latin culture and true Catholic religon since the days of the black legand. Even the ethnic black protestants who walk around with 5 decks of race cards up their sleeves to play at every unfortunate point in life can't stand these catholics and war with them in jails and urban streetcorners.

You sure it was New Yorkers that were complaining? A lot of New Yorkers are well aware about the distinction between Puerto Ricans & Mexicans. Furthermore, a lot of them are aware of the history of the PR community within NYC. From what I'm seeing on Google, it was idiots from out of town that were complaining. A lot of them labeled him as Mexican and are questioning whether or not he's legal. LMAO. GTFO.
This was clearly backwater whites or blacks. Both hate the spanish like puerto ricans and accuse them of being mexican or even speaking mexican- they are just that ignorant. I was down south with my sicilian friend to purchase a piece and the owner of the gun shop accused my sicilian friend of being Illegal mexican. These backwater protestants are all honey boo boo dumb. Don't overestimate them.
The good news is that they are overwhelmingly overweight and consume hundreds of fast food meals a month so they are all committing a self genocide.

What language is "Mexican"? How does one speak it? Also, if you're classifying Puerto Ricans as "Spanish", then technically Mexican-Americans are also "Spanish". Not even gonna comment on your generalizations of Southern people.
