Didn't I say S&F as being done right now is unconstitutional 10-20 pages ago? We covered that. This is page 32. We've moved on and now we're discussing other things. I think I made a different point 2 minutes ago, yet it didn't seem to register with you.

You're a smart individual and I hate to ask you this -- but do you understand the term "trend?"

Actually it's page 33 and I responded to your post on page 32, which if you think S&F is unconstitutional, made no sense for you to say.

Yes and I understand the term trend. It means a reoccurring pattern basically, or a fad. Yes I have a concept of what the word means.

Not really.

Uh, yeah, I'm sure you're going to run every NYC commuter through metal detectors.

I suppose you support shutting down all the "rinky dink" legally operating Chinatown buses without any legal basis? Maybe they should stop and frisk those boarding before they hop on the bus? That would deter them from attempting to pull this off again no?

Going to be tough to get people to show up an hour early for a half hour commute.

I can get on a bus or train with anything right now and no one will stop me. So let them come by car, it will make it that much harder to make their transactions. They will have to unload the stuff on the street late at night and get it upstairs. A car with Virginia plates unloading stuff in front of the projects at 3 AM might prompt a passing patrol car to do a a search.
As someone else pointed out, its unconstitutional to just do seizure and search. A crime has to have happened or be happening. A car with Virginia license plates could simply have driven over to the projects to visit their relatives (yes, people can and do come out from out town in the am hours to see relatives or friends).

The courts would tear this apartment, and the police officers doing this would personally be sued.

No evidence most people using the bus or train are running guns. I'm sure the federal courts would not allow metal detectors or searches of Amtrak or Greyhound passengers. For starters, in most places purchasing guns is not a problem. Only in NYC, with its extreme anti gun laws is it a problem, but all Bloomberg has done with his extreme anti gun laws is created a black market where people will just go to other states and buy them.

Btw, NYC's extreme laws such as banning soda, stop and frisk, etc., aren't particularly liked by the courts or the national government. They get struck down all the time, and the feds and the federal courts won't care that someone in NYC is afraid of "crime". If you're so scared that you suggest something this silly, you need to move from where you live.
