It seems like all the thug bikers had arrest records even this cop.

but of course bloomberg's health concerns are much more important than never ending issues with city workers' integrity

Good one LOL!

In all seriousness though, this entire incident is sad ... the conduct of those NYPD officers that were present is an embarrassment to the law enforcement community. Smashing your helmet into a car window - seriously?

Ray Kelly, who micromanages his and the department's image, will have this disgrace as his legacy by choosing to hide as the story continues to break.

Thanks PPL, but I've been aware of Gloria and her background for awhile. Before she became an attention slore, she had a very good reputation as being a women's rights attorney.

Is she like the female Al Sharpton now? Sure!

But she is far from crazy. I just want to know what Leoliu meant by that comment.

LOL! I completely agree with everyone else saying that NYPD was ALREADY at the scene.

Yeah, they were "undercover", along with the DOC cops doing that "cold criminal catching" thing.

Of course, getting a beatdown by a bunch of renegade cops is a non-priority when compared to making it difficult for fatties to purchase 24 oz sodas to go with their huge juicy burgers and greasy french fries followed by a large ice cream sundae.

Also scary to think about what would have happened if there were no video. It'd be Lien's word against 40 guys including a couple of cops. They're already lying about things that are on video so imagine the stuff they'd say if there were none. Despite video evidence, Cruz is STILL claiming he didn't brake in front of the SUV. Without video, Lien would be looking at years of lawsuits from dozens of those guys claiming he was the aggressor and they all have back pain or some other nonsense now. No video and he might even have found himself facing criminal charges.

He's not hiding. Just saw him on the news discussing the lost autistic boy.

So he's "around", just not to comment on THIS particular situation.

But really, what could he possibly say?

I see a HUGE increase in Dashcam sales within the next couple of months.
