Found injured bird in my yard. What to do with it? (Nassau: live, association)

I saw some stray cats going after a bird. It looks like it might have a broken leg. Anyone know of a place in eastern Queens or western Nassau that would take it?

Maybe you can put some first aid ointment on the bird's broken leg, and then break a wooden tootpick
in half, tie both of the tootpick to the bird's broken leg to stabilize it. And feed it for 2 weeks if you got
the time, it might heal by then.
