Did anyone catch Brooklyn born Mike Tysons HBO special? It premiered in November, I watched it for the first time tonight. He is a product of Bedford Stuyvesant/Brownsville Brooklyn. He came from a really bad spot to become the undisputed heavy weight champ at 20 years of age. He had his flaws God knows, however it is good to see a son of Brooklyn making another comeback. BTW I went to YouTube afterwards to see some of his fights...guy was a mofo animal!

I watched almost half and then my HBO crapped out and got all glitchy because TWC are legitimate rapists. Was good so far though...

I recall a documentary featuring Mike Tyson and he explained his tales about growing up in Brownsville. He had to fight almost every day just to keep his sneakers or change in his pocket.

That's the documentary "Tyson" which is great. Highly recommend it. The one the OP is talking about is his live one man show.
