Sheesh. Pittsburg's subway sounds like Moscow's with all the fancy stuff. Not even Taipei's MRT is that nice, and it's only 12 years old. As baylovers said, brace yourself for one of the world's oldest and largest subway systems; it shows it's age. My family hadn't been victimized on the subway or seen people get pushed onto the tracks, but we heard about such things and knew people who had been victims. It's a big system with all sorts of people, so you just have to be aware.
