NYC is very gay friendly. Even in the hood (which sometimes can be very close-minded) you see gay people living their life.

As a black woman I take offense to that. What are you saying? All black women have attitudes or are bitchy? Suppose I say all Greek people are lazy?

That's exactly what he was saying. I also think he should speak for himself, not all gay men are catty.

People know I'm gay and I openly tell them so no one is going to try to
hook me up on a date with a girl or there's just certain other things I can
avoid by being open.
And nobody is going to drag you to a Mets game.

it wasn't meant to be offensive. It was meant that a gay man and a black woman can talk, and we get it.

we understand the phrases black women use, and we get it.

do you get that?

Do all Black women get gay men or vice versa? No. You're sticking your foot in the mouth there as well. There was absolutely no reason to claim that you had an inner Black woman, period. You offended a Black woman in saying that, proving that there isn't this special bond between Black women and gays, certainly not any more than any other groups of people.

WELL, On "Americas next Top Model", one of the men used that expression, and as a gay man, I got it, and I thought it was funny. You don't like it, tough, too bad.

so don't go and get yourself in an uproar. freedom of speech, get over it.

And here I thought all women like gay men. They can relate to them and not feel a threat.
