Yes, I've heard a helicopter hover for hours at wee hours in the morning. The last time it happened, there was a really bad accident.

Are you in Brooklyn? There was an autistic boy missing a few nights ago in Brooklyn, Bensonhurst area and there were helicopters circling the area all night looking for him, cop cars everywhere too.
