Grew up here and now i'm studying non-profit management and public administration, which means I will probably have to stay here for another 5 years or so before leaving due to the fact that the largest market for my degree is NYC.
I really want to move and experience other states like CA, TX, or even WA but can't convince myself to do it now.
And what city is that in pic #2? That's right, it's not a city. There is nothing there. What would I do for work if I lived in pic #2? Would I be a goat herder? You're really not that dim, are you?
Just as Bora Bora is a great place to relax but it's not a place to live.

You'd be astounded by the notion that most medium sized cities in this country have easy access to places like that. That image in particular is in Colorado. To get from to any area like that from Denver is a cinch. I really can't say the same about here. There are job markets outside of nyc. Arguably, much less competitive depending on what we're talking about.
Nahh I hear you....maybe some weekend trips then to get your fix. You probably do that already
I was up in putnam county last weekend. Beautiful area and friendly people. Even 40 miles outside of the city, people say hi. I tend to forget that that happens in most areas of the country...

Houston? Houston is where the Devil goes when it's too cold in Hell.
