It is getting really wild in the classroom. Lessons learned for all teachers of NYC schools on this forum...

Boys put rat poison in teacher’s water: cops | New York Post

"The kids were arrested and charged with reckless endangerment, assault and criminal possession of a weapon. It was not clear why they did it, and their names were not released"...

"Sources said the students would also be disciplined by school officials."

What a joke. If these kids were in the suburbs, they'd already be suspended for even pointing their finger like a gun at someone else. They need to be charged with attempted murder, as adults.

It was just a biochemistry experiment.

One is destined to be a pharmacologist and the other a coroner both with advanced degrees in the hard sciences.

The other was 9 years old.

"Sources said the 9 year old – who will turn 10 next week – brought the poison to school and that both boys laced the teacher’s water with the potentially deadly toxin."

"A similar poisoning incident took place earlier this month in England when two 10-year-olds poured a bleach-like liquid into their teacher’s coffee cup when her back was turned."

I really think in some cases parents should be punished.
