Hello! I am going to be attending Baruch College to get a finance degree. Apart from getting a finance degree, I have no idea what the finance job outlook and track is for NYC? Like what exactly are the entry level positions and salaries and what is the end-game or what? I'm not sure if this is the right forum but thank you!

The easiest way to get an entry level job is to attend Baruch's 5-year CPA program. You can work for an accounting firm for a few years then switch to a client (CFO track) or work for a commercial bank (credit, risk, etc.). Forget underwriting and advisory - those are shrinking job markets.
