Uh no you buy different boots for different weather conditions. Work boots, rain boots, snow boots or sneakers if you work on SI.

Yeah that's what I did. Boots I wear on route are different than in snow or at fbf

Anyway there's only one way to find out what boots/uniform/gloves/gear etc works for you. Everyone is different, so you'll learn what you like when you are actually doing the job.
