Nice pics. What brand camera did you use, if you don't mind me asking?

if you can learn to use lightroom you can brighten up those areas where the shadows make everything to dark and have a real nice look to the photos. getting darker areas bright enough while not blowing out the sky and turning it that awful turquoise color or bluish white you see far to often requires localized brightening.

we just shot these at the bayside marina by the cross island saturday at sunrise and the whitestone at sunset . most of these shots would have been lost in the shadows had we not brought them up after the fact

^^Gorgeous. What camera are you using to take these shots?

I particularly love the bridge picture that looks to be in black and white. It looks like the clouds are in a wind tunnel of sorts. Were you on a boat when you took that one?

took them right from shore. the whitestone shots are from the park underneath the bridge on the queens side. i love shooting there and do different things each time we go. i can shoot the same scene so many ways and never get bored..

we did some street photography in flushing which was alot of fun.

^^Amazing. The same bridge shot several different ways from different angles and lenses.

Thanks for naming the Nikon brand recs. Japanese cameras are still the best I see.
