Prestige is actually the worst car rental agency in new york:

From what I hear they hit you with mystery credit card fees weeks after your transaction that you're stuck disputing and they fake scratches on the cars to hit you with penalties. And that's assuming that the car you reserved or paid for is actually there and actually runs properly, which is also unlikely
If you need to rent a car then go with a reputable company (Avis, Budget, Enterprise, etc...) or one of those short term rental places like zipcar or hertz connect
