Well get ready because I have a feeling that this protest is awakening a whole list of protest. Americans have been conformed for way to long and allowing the ridiculous injustices that occur in this country. A big protest like this was just brewing and waiting to boil over. All of the other protest were just slowly opening our eyes to the issues we have and I hope that this was the last issue to put the icing on the cage and get people to wake up!
I really think its not just about the deaths of EG and MB but just the overrall unhappiness of AAs that has led to this. A significant percentage of AAs are low income with substandard jobs and this tends to lead to unhappiness. And when people are unhappy, it doesn't take much for it to turn to anger and boil over.
I feel so oblivious to what's going on. All over Facebook I hear "protests protests" yet I haven't seen a thing outside of really beautiful holiday decorations. I should consider myself lucky I guess.
Listen to what Charles Barkley said on CNN. He said it all and it was honest and from a different perspective and that's what the general public needed to hear.
Anyways, thanks to all the protesters for ruining people's commute home last night. The actions last night didn't create world peace and it doesn't make people colorblind.
Protest in your hearts and not outside. It's safer that way and less clutter during rush hour.
oh boo f*cking hoo. put your big boy pants on and deal with it.
I wish these lowlifes would man up and try this nonsense in my part of SI. Let's deal with this the way it should be dealt with...
I saw a vid where "protesters" threw large objects at police, I doubt they'd be afraid to so something to you...
