I wonder as well. i'm not that big of a fan of alcohol. I'll have one beer maybe to socialize. I'll have maybe one mixed drink or cocktail. Scotch, whiskey, and bourbon burn. Never understand the point of getting smashed. And in this nyc, the nypd might rape you for being drunk and disorderly. Maybe they want to compete with comic con.

This whole enire weekend I saw pools and pools of vomit all throughout Midtown Manhattan. I wonder who does hip areas of Brooklyn and Manhattan below 14 street faired with beer drinking santas?

Why do you have a name like Dangerous-Boy if you don't even like to get drunk? Might want to change it to Mild-Mannered-Boy. Getting smashed in NYC is a lot of fun.

I didn't see ONE Santa when I got out of work at 11pm (around Union Square) and I didn't see one on the subway ride home as well. Usually when I'm at work I would see a ton of rowdy and drunk Santas but nothing at all last night. There were a ton of cops in the area due to the protesters so I figure the Santas in the area just kept to their best behavior. As for the rest of the city I'm not so sure.

This year, the official "end" of Santa Con was 5:30pm. I think this was done because of all the complaints in past years about these idiots being so far gone drunk that they were a danger to themselves and everyone else.

All was calm in williamsburg. I got back to my apartment around midnight and it looked like normal goings-ons at that time.

However, when I was on my way to a party last night around 4:30 there were TONS of santas all over the LES.

Last year I took a cab back to my apartment in the EV and i saw someone laying face down on the side walk in the snow.

Because it's legal ! Why can't I sit in the park and smoke a joint while listening to birds chirp ? Because it is illegal.

I hope all this makes sense to you.

Apparently some of them decided to join up with the protesters making a very surreal image. Others left in disgust in support of the police.
