Just heard a report that some skell ambushed a cop in the Bronx put a gun to his head and pulled the trigger but the gun jammed. Anyone else heard this yet?
You are assuming that this is an isolated incident. I posted in aprevious thread just 48 hours ago tthat DB was one make scandal or other issue that could define and destroy his term as Mayor. Well even a lot of the anti police activists are now saying depending on how de Blasio handles this crisis, it will either make him or break him as mayor. So we will see. If you were right congratulate yourself.
If he screws it up he's out of there in 2017. If he handles it well he can get reelected.
Look, it's the fire that deBlasio has fueled that has led to these situations. You can not have Al Sharpton as an adviser of anything. The media see's deBlasio for what he is, a great sound bite and they run like hell with it. deBlasio has forgotten that he is Mayor of NYC. He thinks he is some great leader of a movement that will carry him to Washington DC. deBlasio is as dangerous as he is delusional.
Lynch is also delusional. No matter how much he may disagree with the mayor, saying de Blasio should not be at police funerals is disrespectful.
The mayor, governor, and all top NYC officials need to be at the funeral of these two police officers that were killed and all stakeholders need to come to find a solution for this madness.
And while you accuse Sharpton and others of fanning the flames, what tools are these people using? The news media report and twist incidences of police brutality. While it's true I think Garner should not have died, there have been incidences were the news media would report on a Black man running from the cops who was shot. Only at the end of the article will they mention the man's violent past and extensive criminal record. Knowing full well many idiots are too ADD to read the full article.
Sadly, the media doesn't like to cover people presenting any kind of solution (ADD people don't listen to reasonable voices, it's too boring). It's reflective of the sad state in this country when inmates are allowed to run the asylum.

If you were an adviser to the Mayor how would you tell him to handle this situation. Mind you much if this is damage control that has to result in real promises being made and kept, not just lip service.

Not necessarily. I agree with you this does have the potential to FINISH de Blasio, but it's really all in how he RESPONDS to this disaster moving forward. If he does not handle this properly, you will be proven right. If he is able to handle this properly, you'll be proven wrong.
I'm not the one saying there is a "black community". It's white people that are. There is no such thing as a "black community" where all blacks are under one leader, one mind, one faith, one love, etc.
