Since the NYPD has been abandoned by the Mayor and his progressive cronies they have decided to close ranks and do what is required to keep them safe. We have seen all the directives issued by the unions. I for one can not blame them for taking this approach. However the people who will be suffering are the law abiding civilians who will be preyed upon by these skells.

Just like the NYPD the average person must take precautions in keeping themselves and their families safe. The next step of the break down of our society will be vigilante justice. Yet another result of a Sharpton run City Hall.

The NYPD won't be there for us people. When you call 911 they won't answer. We are on our own. Don't be a victim. Do what needs to be done to survive.

That is why you need go get out of "progressive" ultra blue states. The unions and the animals that cause crimes and have excuses made for them always come first.

The NYPD will be there. Eventually. 911 will answer. Some calls are fire or medical emergencies, that do not require a police response. If there's a police slowdown, calls requiring a police response will be triaged. Let's face it, a lot of 911 calls are bull**** anyway. The street fight stemming from an ongoing dispute, that led to the DA filing no charges against the 3 arrested teens who beat the other guy with a stick, but got an officer suspended for punching one of the mutts who was resisting arrest, is a prime example. Let them sort themselves out.
DVs in progress? Put them on the list for the precinct DV officers to stop by.
NYPD - Crime Prevention That's another 600 fewer calls daily. No likes DV runs anyway.

Are you sure? I hope you know that NYS and the City State within the State called NYC, stuck their middle finger towards the 2nd amendment that is listed on the Federal Bill of Rights!

The cops will work. They always work. Maybe summonses down for a few weeks. Maybe some increased wait time. It should be a lot worse than that but it wont happen.

Increased wait times in a life and death situation could mean the difference between living and dying.

Please don't be absurd. The overall crime rate here is still very low.

Don;t worry, it won't be for long under deBlasio and company

The absurdity is a radical left wing politician in public office in any form. We have seen first hand the damage that can be done to a country, city first hand.
