It didn't help that NYC is also hosting Fashion Week in the same week. Hotel rates are probably insane. I also forgot that it was being hosted in nyc this year.

nba fashion contest???? wtf?

I just drove by the Barclays Center and it is a pretty neat setup. Traffic sucked, but on the whole, I'm glad Brooklyn is a part of All Star Weekend.

No one cares about the NBA...

Miss the days of Jordan, Magic and Bird!

Went to the NBA event at the Moynihan Station by MSG, not bad. Also plenty of after hours party is going on as well. The event was not crowded at all, I don't know why? I could only assume that it was Valentines day and I did not see a lot of adult males my age, most likely they were with their wives or Girlfriends. Plenty of other things were going on in the city this week and sure that the NBA did not get a lot of attention this week in the city.

It seems mostly everyone is interested in the concerts & clubs surrounding the All Star Weekend. All the celebs, ballers & entertainers are in town.
I went to a concert hosted by Diddy & Snoop Dogg and it was truly amazing ! I am a 90's-00's Hip hop head and Diddy literally brought everyone out. including Dr Dre ( historic). This would not happen if it wasn't all star weekend. It was the best concert I have ever been to.
Also went to several clubs and it was a who's who of music and sports. So to me.. its all about the parties.... the game tickets are very expensive and people just watch it online or at a bar.
