I'm fine with both asian cuisine and cheese, but the person that I am traveling with can’t stand either of them. What places would you recommend? I already have 3 in mind:

  • Elia Resteraunt
  • Petit Oven
  • Tuscany Grill

I always wanted to try Tuscany Grill but never got the chance...

Never been to your other two but they seem nice and well reviewed. I recall Elia having a good reputation.

Ho’ Brah Taco Joint -- Hawaiian themed taco place. I don't get the connection, but I liked it.

Chadwick's -- Meat and potatoes. A bit formal by Bay Ridge standards, if you're looking for someplace like that. You can still dress casually.

Twenty3 Supper Club -- Always wanted to try this place, but never did. Well reviewed.

I'd recommend Chowhound.

Outer Boroughs - Chowhound

The BBC (Brooklyn Beet Company) has very good food. Also, Tanoreen is one of the top (if not the top) Middle Eastern restaurants in the city.

Tanoreen is an absolute must-try. Some of the freshest, most flavorful food I've ever had.

Gino's ( 5th and 75th) is very good if you're in the mood for Italian
Chadwick's for 'classic American'
Ho 'Brah has awesome Tacos and drinks

I don't like Ho'Brah.

Are you looking for expensive/fancy? Any type of food that you're leaning toward?
