No. @ worst associates of chinx are gonna find out who the shooter is and retaliate and then the shooters associates will do the same and there will be a back and forth til the police get involved. Will it engulf the whole city of NY? Hell no.

This is one of the ways violence spun out of control in Chicago - some local rapper was murdered, another rapper was gunned down in retaliation, and it's spawned a gang war where the city has a ridiculous murder rate.
Chicago is a whole different animal....

[/QIf these animals want to kill themselves, I don't get too worked up about it. But nyc is unique bc the hood can come to our neighborhoods where we prefer a civilized society with a simple jump of a subway turnstile.

People in the hoods of new york dont give 2 squats about you so called "civilized" people living in "good civilized" neighborhoods. Chinx got shot on queens blvd, a busy strip people from all over queens use....he was probably coming from somewhere and the shooters followed him and shot him. Your acting like this happened on your doorstep. Gentrifiers invading the ghetto dont even get stuck up like that so what the hell makes u think theyre going to come to YOUR neighborhood? have a seat

This is a sad story to say the least. Someone here mentioned he was a father. Sadly, another kid will grow up without his/her dad. RIP young man!! And may God look over your little one.

The vicious cycle will repeat itself.

Reading this guy was known to have been a drug dealer. Not saying he deserved it but it wouldn't be unheard of that he still had street drama going on.

With the DA and criminal court right up the street, there must be some surveillance footage of every automobile driving down Queens blvd at that time. It was at 4am, so there shouldn't be too many vehicles to sift through.

Another young talent lost to some nonsense. One of my favorite rappers emerging out of New York, he had a nice buzz and feel like he was about to blow up.

Was pretty bummed out to read this news yesterday morning, had to put his CR series of mixtapes in the deck.

RIP Chinx.

That being said, this kind of stuff rarely happens in other music genres, noticed ? The genre has a lot of shady characters involved. It is what it is.
