Hi All- I've been looking for info for a ballpark cost of building a new brick multi family. Was just thinking houses in Queens are getting old, and the current generation will eventually have to rebuild the frame/panel houses that were originally built in the very early 1900s.

Does anyone know if the city keeps this sort of data available on-line? or know approximate how much it would cost? I understand the final cost would vary depending on material, not looking into anything lavish, just curious for the below without going to get bids from actual companies:

-Knock down existing house/structure- 3 floors
- Lay New Foundation, and basement
-Build new brick Multi Family- 3/4 story walk-up
-House foot print is pretty standard in Woodside, generally, 20x50or60

Again, nothing lavish like marble or anything crazy, average ballpark cost to do this?

Would really appreciate some input, thanks in advance

Expect at least 500k for what you are describing and a LONG time to get the job completed and signed off by the DOB
