I am considering moving to this area.

How is parking in the neighborhood?

Also, how is shopping, groceries in the neighborhood?

Any information you can give me is much-appreciated!

Thank you

Parking is not easy but much better than in Winsor Terrace/Park Slope.
Under McDonald's ave subway line there are good possibilities.
Shopping is good. Besides all the corner stores there is a good shoprite under the subway line and plenty other stores along Coney island ave.

Thanks for the response!

Yeah, I'm sure parking isn't as bad as in Park Slope.
I think it's even easier than further up in Kensington/Ditmas Park.

Good to know that there may be parking near McDonald Avenue. That's only 5 blocks away so is a possibility if need be. Thank you!

Yeah, the shopping didn't look as good as my current neighborhood (Kings Highway),
but I did see the Shoprite, which is quite good.
True, there's more shopping along Coney Island Avenue, which is 5 blocks away.
It's just that Foster Avenue per se seems to have very few stores - just a ragged looking bodega or 2.
I noticed that 18th Avenue, a few avenues up, seems to have slightly better shopping.
