Is it a matter of time before ISIS stages an attack on NY? I mean, we (the US) killed "Jihadi John" and I'm sure they are already plotting to seek revenge on us and NYC being the most obvious US city to go after.
The ultimate aim of the radical Islamists is a mass murder attack somewhere in the USA. Cities with high concentrations of people make the best targets. NYC is one such place. The preferred weapon would be a nuclear bomb smuggled out of Russia, Pakistan or bought from North Korea or a poison gas attack delivered ideally by a crop duster plane. The chemicals would come from the captured arsenals of Saddam Hussein or Bashar al-Assad.

Really? You are not a student of history. Islam has been at war with itself and more importantly with Christianity and other non believers since the beginning. This is not revenge for anything, it is expansion of the Caliphate to the entire world. They have been doing this for centuries, the current invasion of Europe isn't the first, but the limp wristed progressives over there are too weak to fight them this time. Europe has given up, through sheer Muslim birthdate alone the Europeans are finished. Add in some terror like this and they will be wiped from the history books in no time.
And our stupid leaders here are repeating the same mistakes. Open borders for everyone. Allowing a culture like this, completely opposite to everything we stand for is insanity and treasonous. We will be overrun in no time. Words cannot express my anger at how the west is commiting suicide all in the name of diversity. Pure insanity.

^ I don't think so. Islam might have a long history of warring with the West but this is ISIS we are dealing with right now. They are very new and have only been around for a few years and you can be sure the US is on the top of their list to attack, along with the UK.

Wrong. Early Islam was quite tolerant of Jews and Muslims, referring to them as "the people of the book" and allowing them to pursue their own religious beliefs as long as it involved the monotheistic God. Your statement is simply and fundamentally contrary to fact. You might consider looking into history, for example, the Crusades ... It is you who are definitely not a student of history except perhaps some sort of internet thing or feel-good baloney.
To this day, "normal" Islam - non-radical and/or non-fundamentalist Islam - has a tolerance perspective and will not necessarily discourage, for example, Muslim women from marrying outside Islam.
And people need to learn about the rise of ISIS. I mean, come on, there is even a very watch-able PBS film.
You say islam doesn't have a long history of warring with the West??? Only since 632 AD when it was founded. Quite a long time no matter how one looks at it. You can watch all the films you want, and blame a JV team called ISIS, but the true culprit and enemy is islam. Everything else is just an excuse.
