A movie I just watched a couple of weeks ago. An oldie but classic NY movie. The Naked City with Barry Fitzgerald. Goodfellas was a good one too.

NYC served as a important character. Here is my short list, anyone have any others.

1) Warriors.
2) Night Hawks - with Billy D and Sylvester Stallone. Love the Bronx shots.
3) A Bronx Tale.
4) The Wanderers.

Opinion: Movies filmed in New York that I liked......
The French Connection
The 7-Ups
American Gangster
Carlitos way

YESSSS!!! I love this movie. I actually saw it at the Angelika theater when it first came out back in the Summer of 95. Sadly some of the actors in that movie passed away.

I was just watching Ghostbusters last night. They filmed in the Rose Room!

Watch The French Connection for one of the last glimpses of the Manhattan skyline pre-construction of the WTC (RIP).
