I got an emailed stating that I was rejected due to poor credit. However I am appealing, I do have school loans but I recently graduated and was waiting for that so I can start on a payment plan. I think its ridiculous that they reject people for that because everyone deserves a chance. I mean its only my daughter and I and I just had 1 credit card and the other are school loans I took to get an education. so I don't get it!! I am not giving up because its not like I have a criminal record. I am educated person and totally capable of being a civilized tenant. ( just venting)
An interesting (but larger point) I'm curious about. If you're a student and you have student loans, will they likely reject you even if you are in good credit standing?

Wow! That sucks, I'm glad they are reviewing your case!! I was called in for an interview sometime in June but have yet to hear back from anyone. Not sure if that's a good or bad sign. :-?
So I got an email today and my appeal was granted!!! Yay!! The lady said that I will be contacted within 5 days.. They want an update of my paystubs and bank statements.. And that the building will be completed this fall.

this is good news. however, it doesn't mean you're in the clear yet. give em what they want, and let em do their thing
So I got called today offering me a 1 bedroom apartment. I have to go to on Tuesdays to fill out the final papers. I was told I don't need to bring a anything like pay stubs.. So I'm not sure what this means.. I think I got the apartment but don't want to jinks it!! Will keep you posted.. I know
