I can't tell if this is satire exagerrated sarcasm, or a real anti gentrification hipster who thinks he can be a hero and save his neighborhood by exposing this trend as if nobody already knows what gentrification is.
You're not special and deep just because you were born here. Sorry if you don't like change. I like what globalization is doing to American cores.

Anyone is entitled to make a documentary on any subject. You can watch it or not, like it or not. But there is nothing wrong with anyone making a documentary on any subject, and certainly nothing illegal about it.
Hahahah that was funny!! I think that is a great video!!! I think when people complain about gentrification people should watch that video!! Granted it does suck if you are priced out or whatever but Im sorry that's life, sh**it happens and a city has gotta develope.
Williamsburg is the gayest. It's all a bunch of nasty entitled hipsters who are literally the worst occupants of New York City. Unclear to me why anybody actually wants to live in that ugly neighborhood. It smells like nobody takes a shower there.

The guy is NOT a native NY'er. Watch the video a few times and pay close attention to every word. He says he "grew up in some sensess" in Brooklyn because he "moved here after college" and has been "living here for 2 years." The rent increases have "upset his parents".
Can't believe you fell for this. You listened to his speech/ accent and believed he is a native Brooklynite ?
