Meanwhile, while all local meadia outlets are going crazy OVER reporting about the scumbag guy non-violently stealing from a grandma...

They are UNDER reporting this poor woman being singled out and attacked by a pack of animals.

Exclusive: Bushwick Ambush « CBS New York

If you are a suburbanite moving into Bushwick or Bed-Stuy, and take the train home alone late at night, assume that this could happen to you. Its not Williamsburg or the LES.

How is this being under reported by the media when you found the story in the media....

Under reported.
Meaning, only reported by CBS vs the other story being reported by all channels and outlets.
It's a pretty simple definition.

I don't think many suburbanites move into neighborhoods like that, it's probably hipster/bohemian types coming from other parts of NYC.

Area isnt bad actually and you'd be shocked how gentrified that area has actually become. Along with the nightlife.

Sucks what happened to this lady but **** happens, if she wasn't a transplant people wouldnt care lol. Cause stuff like this happens in many areas.

Bushwick is bad so not a big deal really. Ripping a wad of cash out of a granny's bra is much more newsworthy.

Well, it's probably because the victim chose to speak to one news channel about the incident. You don't hear about every crime committed in the City on the news, so on any given day SOMETHING is being underreported.

Has it been confirmed that she's a transplant?
