Hello all,

Planning to relocate to NYC in the next few weeks. Job based in the Bronx. Single. Early 30's. Budget of ~$1500. Looking for a neighborhood that is dense, walkable and has decent food/shopping options. The more people around the better. Want to keep commute to bronx under 30 minutes if possible.

Are there any areas in the bronx that would be a match for my requirements?

Would inwood, wash heights or parts of harlem be out of the question?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Where in the Bronx? It's a big borough. I don't think you can get a helpful answer without that.

I will actually be working at multiple sites throughout the Bronx, centered around Fordham area.

Thanks.

Kingsbridge and Beford Park would be good options I think

Grand Concourse area. Near #2, 4, & 5 IRT lines, and the D train.

Beford Park might be good for you too. The D train goes there.
