Exactly! Gentrification is just a hip word for change. Gentrification/change has been happening in NYC since NYC was a city. Remember, nothing in the universe stays the same; everything keeps on changing.

Does anyone remember when gentrification started appearing in NYC? And which areas were the first to gentrify before spreading throughout NYC like wild fire?
