I'd like some help in getting some clarification on the general hiring process for sanitation workers. I took the written test( scored 103.575), took the physical and medical, and even got the notice for an interview. Unfortunately, I did not go to the interview as I never physically received the notice. I was recently able to get my name restored to the list with my original rank on it. I would like to know if anyone else that has been in a similar situation know how long it may take to get a call for a second possible interview after a restoration of ones name to the Dcas hiring list for sanitation worker? How long would the general process take? Would I need to redo any part of or the whole hiring process as a whole?

I think as long as you are restored to the list you are good. Just have to wait for another class to go in, which probably won't happen until spring.

Depending on your list number they are only up to the high 1500's. Other people are also being restored to the list passing medical school and getting CDL's. Searching through the list based off of your user name. Shot in the dark you probably have 1 maybe 2 classes hired before they get to your list number. Assuming your in the 1800's.

Interview? There is no interview. I think you mean Final Processing.

Don't recall my exact list number at the moment( need to look it up in my documents). It's somewhere in between 1230 to 1245. Hopefully that and my relatively high score makes a difference in me getting a call.

Where can I look to find notifications for these classes when they do open up? Or would I simply receive a notification in the mail if I am being considered for a position.
