Manhattan , Broadway, Lincoln Center and just the fact you can be in a crowd of people, not know anyone and enjoy it.

I like riding boats in a city. It has sadly never been part of my commute, but I find that I really like it.

The accessibility of shops and restaurants that have their origins from all over the world. I've been lucky enough to also be able to have become friends with many people from all over and it's difficult to do so outside of NYC. The trips I've been able to go on and see parts of different countries that are well off the usual tourist itinerary has been amazing.

I also love museum exhibits and talks on archeology, history and/or astronomy. NYC is pretty fantastic for this. I used to go to be much more into the music scene here, but though I go to things far less often, I'm still into it.

Bagels. Especially the ones with the holes in the middle. Dang tasty.

I love the fact that I will never be bored here. There's always something to go do and see, whether it's just a new neighborhood i've never been to, or an unusual event or a beautiful waterfront area with cool shops and restaurants. I also like that I can meet interested, engaging people in my field pretty much any time I go out to an event.

When I go out of the city, I sometimes see things I wish I could have, like clean and large supermarkets, and roads to drive on where people aren't constantly double parking and doing insane u-turns, but for me the pros of the city life outweigh the cons. I like the energy here.

Nothing. My mom plopped me here at birth basically every man for himself and I find nothing special about it except waiting for my lottery number to come out.

Bagels, bialys, and pizza. Although a guy from Jersey just opened a pretty good pizza joint where I live now, in Asheville NC.

I also like the ferries! Although maybe not so much in the winter.

I was just watching a program about North Brother Island, just off of Manhattan, and they were speculating about whether it might someday be open to visitors. As of now, you have to be a special guest to go there. Probably mainly gov't people and NYC Parks Dept staff.

Will New Yorkers Finally Get to Visit North Brother Island?
