Geico is killing me up to $150 a month now and it's just liability insurance.. I would like to bring it down to under$100 at least; guess gonna have to start calling competition around to see what they can offer.
who have better prices ?

Geico actually gave me the best rate on my current car. The quotes I got from Progressive and Allstate were about double. I'm paying roughly $120 for full coverage.

Geico gave us the best all around deal.
Many have claims they consider not their fault , but when shopping unless your insurer got reimbursed it is all a claim on your CLUE REPORT

In ny your own insurer can't raise you for comprehensive claims. They can drop you . However when being priced by other companies those comprehensive claims count as well as glass claims too.

I just shopped and found rates about 150 a year less but not worth changing for. Some are awful to deal with.

As an example my son left geico and went to the low bidder. Now on a one year old car the insurer will not pay for factory parts ,only after market and used

I have no claims, I do live in a risky zip code and also don't have the best score.. only have liability, I shouldn't have to be paying this much for this kind of insurance.

I have always found State Farm to be the lowest rate for any kind of insurance I chose. I am currently without a car and if I have to look at $150/month for just insurance, it looks like I will never own a car again.

State farm is who my son took and had to fight over the quality of the repair parts. He finally won and got oem parts used but it delayed the fixing by 3 weeks as they fought over state farm only approving after market and used parts.

There is a reason they are cheap. My son is switching back to geico

I had GEICO, the when I got my second car, he ins went skyrocketing. I now have progressive.
I had GEICO for decades, and when I told them I was leaving they should have made me an offer I couldnt resist. they didnt, and i left.
i now pay 212 a month for a benz and a pick up.
the pick up is owner outright and 2007 the bense is leased and has one more year on the lease.

I hate car insruance. my cars are registered in staten island though as my mothers house is in my name so technically it is mine.
