Hi guys,

I'm wondering if anyone has any experience using the man with a van services that are advertised all over craigslist and signposts in the city for moving. I need the move about 15 blocks and have relatively few possessions...and both places are furnished so I will not be moving anything huge like beds, dressers, etc. I have a weight bench that I'm hoping to keep but that's the only thing that is sizable. Has anyone used these services, and if so what was it like? How much did it end up costing? Any recs for specific services?

Thanks very much,

Luke

I've used man with a van twice. I got both of them from the Village Voice since this was before there was a Craig's List.

I was happy with the service both times.

Though just like anything this is simply my own fortunate experience, and I'm sure others have different stories, but there's nothing wrong with the idea of using man With A Van.
