Yep. still fine tho. The block to watch is 110th and Lenox. The in between blocks up til about 114th are sorta sus but still a good area of Harlem
That's the block I'm talking about with the subway (Central Park North 110th street stop)... I don't like the characters that hang out over there. It's usually fine during rush hour since so many people are coming and going but quite frankly, I'd actually prefer to get the subway at 116th instead if you can believe it.

They all are posted on Lenox in front of the chicken spot, liquor store, bodega and fine fare.
Can't staaaaaaaand that block.
So that means you can visit it when you have a chance. In any event, I'd say the area is mixed, and I'm not necessarily a fan of the area by the subway (Central Park North), but there has been rapid changes in recent years (more gentrification). Harlem is always a block-by-block thing, so you really need to go and see for yourself. The areas to the west and south of 125th have been seeing improvements, but there are still pockets that can be dicey. That said the architecture in the area is some of the most beautiful around (it is Harlem after all), plus you have Central Park a few blocks away. Lots of places to eat (some good some bad, but that's what it is when an area is in transition). Most of west Harlem has seen a good amount of gentrification, but you still have things like housing projects or buildings with Section 8 a short walk away.

You didn't specify before. There's also a stop at 110th on the B/C on the other side of AC Powell.
