After hearing endless complaints from certain posters on people moving to NYC to collect welfare, we finally have a poster who is on welfare, new tonNYC, and a white male.
I’ve yet to see forum conservatives challenge him. He claims to have a job and be on welfare. If a woman with kids or a mom white did this they’d be accused of fraud.
Si I want to know if forum conservatives are okay with white men collecting welfare checks, since none of you seem to be willing to call him out. If you support what he’s doing you’ve lost the right to complain about welfare again, because he is an allegedly able bodied man with a job trying to get welfare to pay his rent for a year. Yet none of you suggested he should have to move out to the country.
Give it a rest. These little petty fights are ruining the forum. Bring back the affordable housing threads. Well, not really. But petty attacks are not exactly helping things move in a positive direction either.
Able bodied humans should not receive any type of assistance long-term wise. The only candidates for long-term welfare, food stamps, etc are elderly and disabled. Able bodied people should receive a fixed term (3 years) to get back on their feet.
You may not believe this but white people can be poor. Asians can be poor. Every race and nationality has poor people and if they qualify for benefits they will receive them. No, people should not move here from another state just for welfare but they do. Are you going to hang out at the welfare office checking ID?
