Lately I have been seeing a bunch of cars with Texas license plates in Brooklyn. This is obvious insurance cheat, much like PA and FL plates, but TX is pretty new. Whats up with that?
Seems like Texas is the new Florida/Georgia. I have seen quite an increase in people moving to Texas to better themselves in the same way they used to move to Florida and Georgia. Family and friends living in Texas means new cheap location for insurance.
3 acquaintances of mine moved to Texas in the last year.
One moved with his New York salary and transfered jobs. Bought a new house and is now living happily there.

The more New Yorkers leaving NYC to other states, the more their remaining family members can use their new address to register their cars and get lower insurance rates illegally while living here in NY.
I see one car around my neighborhood all the time, it's really noticable becuase there is always a canoe on its roof with a ton of stickers on it. It has ontario plates.
Why the hell would they come here to pay more tax and to freeze their ass off
Would you rather be warm and broke or cold and broke LMAO
SeventhFloor, it is HOT as HELL, worst than Florida. There are FIRE ANTS that make mounds, and if your foot gets caught in one, God help you, roaches are about half-pound each. I would rather not be broke at all. Plus, it has lots of weather disasters.
Can you blame them from wanting to leave a backwards state and come to nyc?
Newflash... We live in a backwards state. I've not seen texas plates much tho.
