Relocating to NYC and need help finding a good Neighborhood!

True, the express bus would take about an hour, an uber would take about an hour crossing the Verrazzano and then the Brooklyn Bridge to the FDR and to midtown. Tribeca, the financial disrict, or LIC would be the best. I'm guessing $4K a month for a small studio vs $2K a month for a two bedroom in Staten Island.

As was probably mentioned earlier in this thread - Do not exclusively focus on new construction.

I recently browsed a couple of "New" construction apartments in LIC - Highly over-rated for the price. Then again, if you are going to be Working from Home 3 days a week you want the place to be nice, but does not necessarily have to be modern (2010 - Present).
